Dost mein aata hoon: Agra man jumps into friend’s pyre, dies

We can't choose our family, but we can choose our friends and when our friends themselves become our family, it is the most lovable relationship ever. A man has set an example of true, bonded friendship. In UP man jumped onto the funeral pyre of his friend who died because of cancer.

A 44-year-old man, Ashok Kumar Lodhi from Nagla Khangar village was diagnosed with cancer. His childhood friend Anand Gaurav Rajput paid for his medical expenses too. They were both so close friends that they used to go to the same school, their families are close to each other. They were both local musicians and people invited them to sing on different occasions. Lodhi helped Rajput financially with his daughter's wedding. Lodhi was a resident of Gadiya Panchwati village.

But Anand Gaurav Rajput could not bear the agony of his friend's death. On the banks of Yamuna, when people started leaving from there, he yelled, "dost mein aata hoon", and jumped into that fire. People tried to pull him out, when they did he was already 90% injured. People took him to S N medical College. But by the time he died.

They two were inseparable and Anand proved it.
