DGCA sends Campbell Wilson, the CEO of Air India, and the head of flight safety show-cause notices

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has issued show-cause notices to Air India's CEO Campbell Wilson and the airline's Head of Safety, Security and Quality Functions Henry Donohoe for failing to report in a timely manner an incident where a pilot allowed his female friend into the cockpit of a Dubai-Delhi flight on February 27. The notices were issued on April 21 for violating safety instructions from the regulator. The DGCA official noted that there was also a delay in investigating the incident. Both officials have been given 15 days to respond to the notices. It's worth noting that Air India has been fined earlier this year for failing to report two consecutive incidents of alleged urination on its international flights.
