DELHI ORDERS 50% WORK FROM HOME 🚨

In a major move to combat rising air pollution, Delhi’s Labour Minister Shri Kapil Mishra has directed all government and private offices to operate with 50% staff working from home, effective Thursday, December 18, 2025.

Key directives announced today:

✅ Mandatory WFH: All establishments must ensure 50% of employees work remotely to reduce traffic-related emissions.

✅ Support for Construction Workers: Registered construction workers impacted by smog will receive ₹10,000 as compensation.

✅ Strict Enforcement: Violations will attract legal action and heavy penalties under the Environment Protection Act.

✅ Exempted Services: Essential services such as hospitals, fire departments, and utilities will continue normal operations.

“The air crisis is a shared responsibility, and reducing road congestion is critical,” the Minister stated.
