In a bold and strict move, Collector Rituraj Singh in Devas, Madhya Pradesh, personally picked up a hammer during inspection of the under-construction ITI building.

Instead of relying only on reports and layouts, he tested the walls himself by hammering them.

What he found was shocking – the walls were of poor quality and uneven.

The Collector immediately expressed strong displeasure and reprimanded the SDO PIU Rupesh Solanki, warning that no compromise will be made on construction quality.

This incident shows the Collector’s zero-tolerance approach towards poor workmanship in development projects.
