Chirne ( Cutter used to cut the dough)
Whether you prepare nevryos or shankarpali, you need help with this “Chirne” or “Chirke”.
This is one item that one will find in every Goan kitchen.
The one with a spoon at one end and a cutting wheel at the other is quite common.
These are just 2 from my collection, made of brass and beautifully handcrafted.
Does anyone know any other name or use of this, please share.
