Mark your calendars! The famous International Minjar Fair of Chamba is all set to take place from July 23 to 30. Along with the traditional festivities, there will also be an exciting art and craft fair during the event. Recently, a meeting chaired by Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania was held to discuss the preparations for the fair. District-level officials from different departments and non-official fair members were present.
Pathania emphasized that the International Minjar Fair serves as a testament to the district's abundant cultural legacy and customs, with a particular focus on promoting local folk art and culture.

The priority is to provide a suitable platform for the artists within the district, ensuring their participation. MLA Neeraj Nayar expressed that public input would be considered in the fair's organization, utilizing multiple sub-committees. According to Deputy Commissioner Apoorv Devgan, utmost attention will be given to preserving the historical traditions associated with the fair. The opening and closing ceremonies of the fair will include the participation of esteemed guests, such as the Governor and the Chief Minister, who will be extended invitations.
