Bomb scares rattled 28 schools across Bengaluru this morning as threatening emails warned of explosives stealthily planted on their premises. The city plunged into a frenzy as authorities swiftly sprang into action upon receiving these alarming messages.
Promptly alerted, the police mobilized an extensive search operation across the affected schools to identify any suspicious objects. Bomb disposal units raced to locations in Whitefield, Koremangala, Basveshnagar, Yalahanka, and Sadashivanagar, among others, to ensure the safety of students and staff.

Karnataka's Home Minister, G Parmeshwar, vowed a thorough investigation into the email's origin, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation. "This matter is being treated with utmost priority, and I have instructed the police accordingly," he affirmed.
Despite suspicions that the threats could be unfounded, Bengaluru's Police Commissioner, B Dyanand, emphasized a zero-tolerance approach towards such threats. "Even if these calls turn out to be false alarms, we're leaving no stone unturned in tracking down those responsible," he declared.

Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, Commissioner B Dyanand relayed through official channels, "Several Bengaluru schools have reported bomb threats today via email. Our anti-sabotage and bomb detection squads are on high alert to investigate these claims. While they may be hoaxes, we're committed to uncovering the perpetrators."
In response to the security alert, one of the affected schools promptly issued a cautionary notice to parents, prioritizing the safety of their children. "Given an unforeseen security threat, we're immediately dispersing students as a precautionary measure against the received threat," the advisory assured parents.

Seeking to allay parental concerns, Karnataka's Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, reassured, "We've implemented precautionary measures, and there's no cause for alarm among parents." He affirmed the ongoing police investigation, assuring enhanced security measures across schools.
Meanwhile, amidst the chaos, Karnataka's Deputy Chief Minister, DK Shivakumar, expressed dismay at the incident's proximity to his residence. "The news troubled me deeply, especially since schools I know, including the one near my house, were mentioned. Preliminary investigations suggest a hoax, and the police are diligently looking into it," he remarked, urging vigilance while applauding the police's handling of the situation.

Determined to swiftly resolve the issue, Shivakumar vowed, "We'll nab the miscreants within 24 hours. Our cybercrime unit is actively engaged, and we urge everyone to bolster their cybersecurity measures."
Highlighting a similar incident from the past, where seven Bengaluru schools received false bomb threats, authorities remain resolute in ensuring the safety and security of educational institutions in the city.
