BJP MLA's nephew Shot dead in Bihar this morning

Neeraj Paswan (35), nephew of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Kodha Kavita Paswan, was shot dead by unidentified assailants on Wednesday morning.

Two individuals shot Paswan near his residence in the Sangram Chowk area. Locals apprehended the attackers and handed them over to the police. One person has been arrested in this murder case, sources told Vygr News.

Paswan was rushed to the Katihar Medical Hospital but was declared dead on arrival. As soon as he left the house, Neeraj was shot by a vicious criminal who had already ambushed him. The bullet hit the chest and eye, locals told Vygr News.

Police investigation is ongoing, and details regarding the motive and the arrested individuals are yet to be revealed.

Neeraj Paswan had a criminal history and was recently released from jail in connection with the murder case of former mayor Shivraj Paswan. This incident has sparked tension in the city.

This murder was identical to the Shivraj Paswan murder, which was the subject of intense discussion recently. Former Katihar mayor Shivraj Paswan was shot and killed in the Town police station area, close to Santoshi Chowk.
