Pran-pratishtha at Ram Mandir
As per the sources, on the festival of 'pran pratishtha' on January 22, more than one lakh devotees are anticipated to flock to the temple town.
According to the specifications, the Pran Pratishtha is a procedure used in Hindu temples to sanctify a murti. A recital of sacred songs and mantras is performed during this time to greet the deity as the new inhabitant of the temple.
The Vedic procedures for Ram Lalla's Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya will commence on January 16, one week before the major ceremony. The primary ceremonies will be conducted by Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a Varanasi priest, on January 22. From January 14 to January 22, Ayodhya will commemorate the Amrit Mahotsav.
