Mumbai’s first monsoon downfall, has caused waterlogging in several places which has led to a severe environmental crisis. This has stirred up a political rivalry between the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, and Shiv Sena leader, Aaditya Thackeray.
Eknath Shinde visited certain major monsoon hit areas of Mumbai, after the accusation of BMC, he had visited these places on Sunday, 25.06.23. He has asked the respective officers to take immediate necessary actions fir the betterment of the situation. Amidst all the chaos, the Chief Minister has made his point highlighting the smooth roadways, without traffic, and the regular water supply despite the heavy monsoon and waterlog.
Although Aadiya has lashed out at the current government in a statement saying “ “This is insensitive and making fun of Mumbaikars,”’ he said.
