On Wednesday, a fire started at a high-rise housing development in Greater Noida. Around 11.30 am, the Greater Noida West neighborhood of Gaur City 2 received a report of a fire. On social media, a video of the event has surfaced.

The first-story balcony of an apartment originally caught fire, and it eventually spread to the remaining stories. According to Chief Fire Officer Pradeep Kumar Choubey, "The fire started in the balcony of an apartment on the first floor and quickly spread to the apartment on the first floor as well."
To extinguish the fire, firefighters were sent out soon away. There were no reported deaths or injuries. "The fire has been contained, and no one was hurt," Choubey declared.
What sparked the fire has not yet been identified.
