On Thursday, the Goa police's anti-narcotic unit conducted a raid in Mollembhat, Saligao, and detained Nigerian national Sunday Onye Lucky, 47, for possessing 20.5g of MDMA and 64.9g of LSD liquid, all of which were estimated to be worth Rs 66 lakh.
The ANC then went on to look into the accused's assets in accordance with the pertinent NDPS Act provisions in an effort to find and track down any assets that may have been acquired unlawfully. It was discovered that Lucky owned property, both mobile and immovable, valued at Rs 97 lakh. These included homes, businesses, cars, and bank accounts that were purportedly obtained through the illicit drug trade.
