The National Center for Seismology (NCS) of India announced that an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 happened at roughly 5:35 am on Wednesday in Araria, Bihar, which is 140 kilometers southwest of Siliguri.
The earthquake occurred 10 kilometers beneath the epicenter at Purnia.
Although there were no reports of any property damage or fatalities, neighboring countries like Bangladesh and Nepal may have also felt tremors.
