Supaul, Bihar: A bridge collapsed on Friday morning killing at least one laborer in Supaul of Bihar. The incident took place at around 8 am. The bridge is being built for Rs. 1200 crore, sources said.
The mob agitated over the poor construction of the collapsed bridge. Local people evacuated many people and took them to Supaul by bike for treatment.

After the slab of the bridge collapsed, all the workers of the construction company fled from the site. The 10.5-kilometer bridge is being built under the Bharat Mala Project and was built for the National Highways Authority of India (NHA) by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highway (MoRTH). The bridge is to be built from Bakor in Supaul to Bheja in Madhubani. After this incident, relief work started. In this entire matter, Supaul SP said that six people were injured in the incident. The injured individuals have been brought to the hospital for treatment.
