In Uttar Pradesh's Mainpuri, a 17-year-old girl lost her life after allegedly being administered the wrong injection by a doctor at a private hospital. The girl's family has accused the hospital staff of insensitivity, claiming that they not only gave her the wrong injection but also dumped her lifeless body on a motorcycle parked outside the hospital premises without informing the family of her demise.
The victim, identified as Bharti, had been admitted to Radha Swami Hospital on Karhal Road in the Ghiror area after developing a fever. According to her aunt, Manisha, Bharti was in good health the day before. However, her condition deteriorated after receiving an injection from the doctor, and the family alleges that the doctor informed them that nothing more could be done for her and advised them to take her to another hospital. Shockingly, the family claims that Bharti was already dead when they received this advice.

In response to the incident, the District's Chief Medical Officer ordered the immediate sealing of the hospital. It was discovered that the hospital was being operated by someone without a valid medical license, leading to the cancellation of the facility's registration.
UP Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, responsible for the state's health department, has ordered action against the private hospital. The Chief Medical Officer confirmed that the family alleged wrong treatment and negligence, and instead of arranging for her transfer to another medical facility, the hospital staff brought the patient outside and fled the scene.
A thorough investigation has been initiated by the CMO and additional CMO, with a report expected within a week. The government has vowed strict action against those responsible, including the possibility of cancelling the hospital's registration and filing an FIR against the culprits.
