Uttarakhand Imposes One Year Ban on Tobacco Based Food Products! 🚫

The Uttarakhand government has reportedly imposed a one year ban on gutkha, pan masala and other edible products containing tobacco or nicotine.

The directive prohibits the manufacturing, storage, distribution and sale of these products across the state.

Authorities are conducting inspections to enforce the restrictions. However, the ban does not necessarily cover every plain pan masala product, as the prohibition specifically targets products containing tobacco or nicotine.

The move highlights growing concerns over tobacco related health risks and the need for stronger public health measures.
