Mahindra Lifespace Developers' industrial park in Chennai will house a plant for OMRON Healthcare to produce blood pressure monitors. A regulatory filing by Mahindra Industrial Park Chennai Ltd. (MIPCL), a partnership between Mahindra World City Developers Ltd. and Sumitomo Corporation of Japan, revealed that OMRON Healthcare will begin operations in March 2025 and produce the blood pressure monitors in India at Origins by Mahindra in Chennai.
One of the top manufacturers and distributors of blood pressure monitors as well as services for managing and preventing cardiovascular disease is OMRON Healthcare.The OMRON Healthcare facility, which will be spread across 6.02 acres, will manufacture blood pressure monitors for the mostly domestic market.
