Mumbai's iconic Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – a UNESCO World Heritage Site – was illuminated in red on 27 May 2026, part of a special initiative to spread awareness about menstrual health and hygiene.

This campaign on World Menstrual Hygiene Day aims to break the stigma around periods, encourage open conversations, and highlight the importance of accessible and safe menstrual health practices for women and girls across India.
