Aww, you have a wound? Doctor fixed it with Fevikwik, arrested

In a terrifying example of medical negligent behavior, a Telangana doctor is being investigated for reportedly using the popular sticky glue "Fevi Kwik" on a little kid who visited the hospital to have his wounds treated. This not only made the boy's health worse, but it also made his parents angry, and they reported the doctor to the police, which sparked an investigation.

The event happened at the Rainbow Hospital in the Jogulamba Gadwal area of Leeja, Telangana. The same neighborhood where seven-year-old Praveen Choudhary suffered an injury above his left eye after falling while playing at a wedding that he attended with his parents.

He was brought right away to a local hospital where Dr. Nagarjuna and his staff attended to him. It was stated that they dressed his wounds with "Fevi Kwik" rather than sewing them. His discomfort increased as a result, though, and his condition only became worse, requiring his parents to see a different doctor. After the second visit, they learned that the youngster had been treated with an adhesive.

The boy's parents got frustrated by this and filed a complaint with the police asking for the doctor to be punished. The parents were seen addressing the doctor and his staff about their carelessness in a video that has gone viral. The doctor was also shown in the video apologizing for his actions and explaining that the hospital's electrical outage was to blame for the disaster.

“No... No... It happened by mistake and there was no power supply in the hospital when we were treating your son”, the doctor was heard saying. While he made repeated attempts to calm the parents by promising them that he would be responsible for any issues with the youngster, the parents remained outraged as they criticized and complained about him for his lack of common sense. Social media users who have been asking the health department to take proper action against the doctor's irresponsibility have expressed their annoyance with the video as well.
