The ASSOCHAM (The Associated Chambers of Commerce & Industry of India) Goa Council in collaboration with MSME -DFO, Govt of India and NABARD, Goa regional office recently organised MSME Workshop: Unlocking the Potentials of MSME, Opportunities & Way Forward. The Hon. Minister of Industries, Panchayat, Transport & Protocol Shri. Mauvin Godinho graced the program as the Chief Guest. Also present, special guest Shri M.K Meena, Joint Director MSME-DFO Goa and Shri Sadeep Dharkar, GM NABARD, Goa Regional Office.
The Objective of this workshop to empower the MSMEs through financial inclusions, research and development, foster innovation in the MSME sector, promote digital marketing to strategies quality sales, create unique brand in the global competitive market, facilitate MSME export opportunities and create detail awareness on Trade Receivables Electronic Discounting System (TReDS), aiming to enhance economic growth across the state.
Shri. Mauvin Godinho, in his special address said that he said that “our beautiful state of Goa, is evolving as the industry landscape and it is therefore, essential to create business friendly ecosystem that empowers entrepreneurs, foster innovation and ensure seamless access to financial and technology support. He also deliberated on promoting women entrepreneurship and promoting rural economy across the state.”
Shri Sandeep Dharkar, GM NABARD, Goa Regional Office, in his addressed stressed in promoting rural industrialisation as a key driver of economic growth that can develop skills of rural population, improve rural infrastructure, general equal opportunities among citizens and empowerment of the women.
Shri M.K Meena, Joint Director MSME-DFO Goa, also featured the schemes that can empower the MSME and promote women business growth.
Also, present ASSOCHAM Goa Council leaders, Shri Manguirish Pai Raiker, Dr. Sagar Salgaocar, Smt. Deepali Naik, Director DRDA, South -Goa along with other eminent Guest Speakers.
