The universe of The Big Bang Theory is expanding thanks to an extension from the show's creator.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, April 12th, during the Warner Bros. Discovery press conference, along with the launch of the new platform Max, which is a rebranded merger of HBO Max and Discovery+.
The new show for Max will be developed by executive producer Chuck Lorre, who along with Bill Prady co-created the original Big Bang Theory series.
Plot specifics are presently being kept a secret.
The spin-off series will be Lorre's second overall deal-related endeavor with Max and WBTV.
