Lost, starring Yami Gautam and Pankaj Kapur, will begin streaming on Zee5 on February 16. Yami Gautam, Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Piaa Bajpai, and Tushar Pandey, among others, appear in the film.The intriguing premise of Yami Gautam's Lost, directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, turns out to be a half-baked attempt to address some significant issues.
Lost tells the story of Vidhi Sahani, a young crime reporter played by Yami Gautam and based on real-life events, who is married to Jeet (Neil Bhoopalam) but lives with her nanu (Pankaj Kapur). After the sudden disappearance of a young theater activist played by Tushar Pandey, she is looking into a story. The first half is fun and keeps the suspense high, but the second half loses steam.
The story, written by Shyamal Sengupta and Ritesh Shah, is difficult to digest because it has far too many unresolved issues. Although Lost may not be your go-to weekend flick, it will undoubtedly provoke thought.
