Social media influencer and fashion blogger Kritika Khurana, whose Instagram handle is That Boho Girl, has made a declaration about her separation from her husband Aditya Chhabra after just six months of getting married. Kritika shocked millions of her fans after she made this announcement. She is a Delhi-based social media influencer who has a huge follower base on Instagram and Youtube, and she works with brands like L'Oreal, Myntra, Knorr, Pure Sense, etc.
Kritika's wedding celebrations were like the stuff of dreams for many. Kritika married her long-term boyfriend Aditya. They started dating during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown in 2020. Soon after Aditya proposed to her and they got married in the year 2021. But just after a few months of her marriage there was speculation that their relationship was not going well. This assumption of the fans got clear when Aditya deleted all the posts on his Facebook account that included Kritika.
On October 13, Kritika shared a series of posts on Instagram to clarify things officially. She knew that most of her fans know about it ( separation) but she wanted to clear it by herself so that her fans who are with her for the last 8 years can understand her part of the decision. She wrote that this decision was hardest than anything she has ever had to do.
“To be honest, life has been unfair to me recently. For the first couple of months, I chose to ignore and sacrifice my happiness because I constantly kept thinking of what the world will say.”
Kritika alleged that after two months of her marriage, she decided that she had had enough and she doesn’t want to be where she was. She also thanked the people who supported her throughout this tough decision and time and asked her fans to respect her decision of keeping things private as they were still sensitive.
“I am and will always be the die-hard romantic, but sometimes life deals us the roughest deals, and we have no option but to take hard decisions. This phase has already been very hard for my family and me, and I hope you can understand my situation, and please send your love and prayers to close this chapter forever and move ahead in life," said Kritika while announcing the separation.
We don’t know what has happened between the couple but it’s very sad to hear something like this from the people you follow and love and we wish our Boho girl peace and happiness this season.
