In a shocking turn of events, Vaishali Takkar, one of the most well-known faces on Hindi Television has died in her Indore home. It is reported that she committed suicide and hung herself. According to reports a case has been registered at Netaji Nagar police station. It has also been revealed that the actress has written a suicide note before taking her own life which said - 'I quit...Love You Papa Ma...Please forgive me.'
Needless to say, Vaishali's family is in shock. They have registered a case against Vaishali’s former boyfriend Rahul Navlani and his wife. As per the reports, Rahul is married and lives next to Vaishali. Rahul was harassing Vaishali and wanted her to cancel her wedding. Vaishali was under this trauma for the last 2.5 years.
In the midst of all this, the late actress’s mother Anu Kaur Takkar has spoken to the media demanding justice for her daughter’s death. Vaishali’s mother also shared the last note written by Vaishali. She cried out her pain and quoted Vaishali as saying, “Only I know what war I have fought in 2 years. I can’t even tell what wrong Rahul Navlani has done to me. How I have been exploited emotionally, and physically abused and finally he did what he said that I will not allow your marriage to happen. I’m sorry I couldn't be a good daughter. Rahul and Disha mentally tortured me for 2 years. Please get Rahul and his family punished, otherwise my soul will not get peace.”
Anu also added, "She told us that Rahul won't budge, he is the Shah Rukh Khan of Darr. He seems sweet but is really dangerous."
The Indian Television Industry is mourning the death of Vaishali Takkar. Family, friends, and fans are grieving after she passed away suddenly. Last year, Vaishali made the headlines after pictures and videos of her engagement surfaced online. She got engaged to Dr Abhinandan Singh Hunda and they were slated to marry in June 2021. Despite this, she ended the marriage within a month of the roka due to COVID. However, later reports came that the couple have broken their engagement and parted ways.
Vaishali debuted with Star Plus’ long-running drama Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, playing Sanjana from 2015 to 2016. Vaishali was also known for her roles in top TV shows like Sasural Simar Ka, Super Sister, Vish Ya Amrit: Sitara and Manmohini 2.
Many of her friends and colleagues have shared their shock and pain on social media in the wake of her sudden death.
