SRK is the only Indian to make it in the Empire's '50 greatest actors of all time'

Bollywood heartthrob Shah Rukh Khan has become the only Indian to be named in an international list of 50 greatest actors of all time by a prominent British magazine called Empire.

The illustrious list includes marquee Hollywood names like Denzel Washington, Tom Hanks, Anthony Marlon Brando, Meryl Streep, Jack Nicholson and many others.

Shah Rukh Khan, also known as SRK, is a famous Bollywood actor and producer. He was born on November 2, 1965, in New Delhi, India. His father, Taj Mohammed Khan, was an Indian independence activist while his mother, Lateef Fatima, was a MagistrateSRK started his career in the entertainment industry as a television actor, starring in various TV shows and plays in the late 1980s. In 1988, he made his film debut in the drama film "Fauji," which was a major success and launched his career as a leading actor in Bollywood.

Over the years, SRK has become one of the most successful and influential actors in the Indian film industry, with a career spanning more than three decades. He has received numerous awards and accolades for his acting skills, including 13 Filmfare Awards and 3 Padma Shri Awards. SRK is also known for his philanthropy and has been involved in several charitable initiatives, including the establishment of the Meer Foundation, which focuses on providing support to acid attack victims and their families.
