Salman Khan's Threat Case: Apology from Accused

Bollywood star Salman Khan received a threatening message demanding Rs 5 crore to resolve a long-standing feud with gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, Mumbai Police received an unexpected follow-up: an apology from the same sender. The individual claimed that the message, which sparked concerns for the actor's safety, was sent by mistake.

Threatening Message Sent to Mumbai Traffic Police

The original message was sent on October 18 to the Mumbai Traffic Police control room. In it, the sender warned that Khan's life was in danger unless the hefty sum was paid. The individual claimed to have close ties with Lawrence Bishnoi's gang and issued a grim warning about Khan's future if the extortion demand was ignored.

Sender Apologizes, Claims Mistake

A few days later, the Mumbai Traffic Police received another message from the same number, in which the sender expressed regret, stating that the threatening message was sent by mistake. The police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the threats.

Suspect Traced to Jharkhand

According to Mumbai Police, the location of the person who sent the messages has been traced to Jharkhand. Despite the apology, the gravity of the threat remains a concern as the sender had warned, "Salman Khan’s condition will be worse than Baba Siddique’s," referring to the recent murder of the NCP leader.

Case Registered by Worli Police

Following the initial threat, the Worli Police filed a case and are actively investigating the matter. The situation remains tense as security around Salman Khan has been tightened, and authorities are working to determine whether there is any real connection to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
