Fans of Prabhas' next movie Project K were treated to further major news while social media was aflutter with excitement over the Salaar trailer. At the famous San Diego Comic-Con on July 20, 2023, the Nag Ashwin-directed movie will make history by being the first Indian movie to reveal its trailer, title, and release date. This will be the first Indian film to take centre stage at SDCC, where Marvel and DC studios often host announcements and trailer debuts for their future superhero movies.

In order to reveal the movie's title, trailer, and release date, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and National Award-winning director Nag Ashwin will go to the United States.
