New Year Brings Several Sports Documentaries to Netflix

Worried about browsing through your Netflix home-page and not finding anything worthwhile to watch while enjoying your meal? Fret no more, because Netflix is on the path to release some of the most riveting and captivating sports documentaries in 2023. 

Netflix has been the leading over-the-top streaming platform across the world, over the last few years, owing to its diverse collection of movies, web series and documentaries.  It is now venturing widely into producing sports documentaries, to keep up with the competition from other streaming platforms such as HBO and Amazon. The streaming service is also going to be broadcasting live sports events to garner the attention of more viewers.

This is not a new development, Netflix has been producing high quality and engaging sports movies over the last few years. “Drive to Survive” has been one of Netflix’s most popular productions, which delves deep into the life of Formula 1 racers, managers as well as team owners. “The Last Dance” is a massive favourite of NBA fans. “Last Chance U” is another emotional and eye-opening sports film available on Netflix.
