Neha Dhupia set to make her international debut in film 'Blue 52'

Neha Dhupia, the actor, is all set to mark her international debut in the forthcoming feature film "Blue 52" by Egyptian filmmaker Ali El Arabi, as announced by the makers on Monday. The film takes place in the captivating settings of Kochi, India, and Qatar.

According to PTI, "Blue 52" is a movie that tells the story of Ashish, a 22-year-old boy who feels trapped in a man's body. His world revolves around his idol, football icon Lionel Messi, and the valuable life lessons taught by his mother throughout the years.

In "Blue 52", Dhupia, renowned for her roles in movies like "Chup Chup Ke", "Singh is Kinng", and "A Thursday", will portray the character of Ashish's mother.

As quoted in Telegraph India, "Embarking on the journey of 'Blue 52' has been nothing short of magical. The fusion of diverse cultures in this international venture allowed me to delve deep into a character that is both challenging and emotionally resonant. It's a transformative experience that I believe will leave a lasting impact and I’m glad that Ali chose me to essay the lead in what is my international first," the actor said in a statement.
