It was rumored that in the sequel to 2019’s Joker Lady Gaga would play Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix. And adrenaline was running high.
Now, the film's director, Todd Philips, shared the first look on Instagram, which features Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix as Harley Quin and Joker, respectively.
"Happy Valentine's Day" was the caption that Todd Philips added to the first look that he shared of the movie on Instagram. The same image was also posted by Lady Gaga with the following caption on Instagram: "Folie à Deux," which is also the movie's caption.
In August of last year, Gaga made the announcement that she would be a part of the Joker 2 sequel. The A Star Is Born actress now appears to be all set to captivate audiences and fans with her portrayal of Harley Quinn.
The film is scheduled to come out on October 4, 2024.
