RRR star Jr. NTR signing the blockbuster will make War 2 a major project. After making ripples in the South's entertainment world, the actor now appears to be storming Bollywood. He makes a significant Bollywood debut in War 2 starring Hrithik Roshan. The spy thriller will be produced by Yash Raj Productions and directed by Ayan Mukerji. War 2 is a part of the YRF Spy Universe.
“Jr NTR is making a big splash with Yash Raj and the spy universe. It’s also a popular brand with War being a huge success. This makes Jr NTR enter the big leagues in the industry. Of course, he was already in the big league but he wanted a big announcement from a bomb filmmaker which he got with Yash Raj. It can’t get bigger than this what with Ayan Mukerji and Hrithik Roshan in the picture. Even for YRF, it’s a win-win situation. They have a great set-up, it looks novel on paper. If you look at the North and South box office, it’s going to be humungous.” Taran Adarsh, a Trade analyst, feels that it is a win-win situation for both.
