Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia, former Bigg Boss 14 contestants and a much-in-love couple finally announced their engagement on October 3, 2022, after almost 2 years of dating. Pavitra and Eijaz fell in love on the sets of Bigg Boss14. While being on the show, the couple had an insane love-hate relationship which often they say, is the beginning of true long-lasting love. They had intense fights and were also seen having sweet moments on the show.
Taking to Instagram, Eijaz shared the news about being engaged to his lady love saying, “Baby, if we keep waiting for the right time, It’s never gonna be, I promise you my best, Will you marry me ? She said ” yes #eijazkhan #pavvitrapunia #taken #official 03/10/22.” Pavitra too responded to her beau's post with a sweet, “May the lord protect us from evil eye let there be love love and love.” Needless to say, the post was flooded with comments from the TV, film and fan fraternity within a few minutes congratulating the newly-engaged couple.
Pavitra has earlier opened up on her wedding plans and said, "Everyone is always asking us about our marriage but honestly, we are as good as married. When you have lived with someone for long, you stop looking at each other as boyfriend-girlfriend. But, when we will officially announce ourselves as husband and wife in a ceremony, is yet to decide but hoping very soon. We have been planning since last year that we will do it this year and this year also we are planning it will be this year. Our wedding will be very spontaneous because of both of our tight schedules."
She further added that they want to enjoy their wedding rituals and therefore need enough time to plan it. “We are trying hard to figure out where to fit our marriage into our schedule! Marriage is a very big thing for both of us. We don’t want to get married by taking three days off and resuming work. We want to enjoy the phase where we can indulge and feel the butterflies in our stomach that, oh my god! We did it! As a couple, we are featuring in a project together though we get many offers we don’t like too many of them. We have a lot of professional integrity and want to work where we give each other equal respect," she said.
