Celine Dion has revealed that she has stiff-person syndrome.

The Grammy-winning singer revealed in an Instagram post that she is being diagnosed with "stiff person syndrome."

The post was a tearful video that was posted in two languages: English and French.

The 54-year-old singer has been diagnosed with stiff person syndrome, a very rare syndrome that causes spasms and impairs her ability to walk and sing.

In Céline's Instagram post, it read, "!! Céline Dion reschedules her spring 2023 show to 2024 and cancels eight of her summer 2023 shows. !!"

In the post, there was also a personal message by Celine Dion, which states: "I've been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it has been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to tell about everything that I have been going through... It hurts me to tell you that I won't be ready to restart my tour in Europe in February."

In the video post, the Grammy-winning singer addresses her fans and explains, saying, "I can't wait to be on stage talking to you in person." "As you know, I have always been an open book, and I wasn't ready to say anything about it before, but I'm ready now."

She revealed that she has been working hard with her sports medicine therapist to build up her strength, admitting that it has been a struggle.

Stiff Person Syndrome is a neurological disorder, or a disorder of the central nervous system, that causes progressive muscle stiffness and spasms. Symptoms of stiff person syndrome include stiffness in the trunk and limbs, painful muscle spasms, walking difficulties, sensory issues, and more.

The stiff-person syndrome has no cure. which is said to turn a person into a human statue as the body starts becoming more rigid.
