BTS's J-Hope to leave for military training on April 18?

The topic of discussion among ARMY, the fans of South Korean boy band BTS, is the military enlistment of its members. Last year, the band's eldest member, Jin, started his military training. Recently, there have been reports suggesting that J-Hope will begin his training on April 18 at the Gangwon Province center and will receive five weeks of basic training before being deployed to his unit.

Although the exact date and location of J-Hope's enlistment have not been confirmed by BTS' agency, HYBE, announced that he would enlist this month. The agency issued a statement on Weverse to inform fans of J-Hope's plans and requested that they understand why they would not release the date. As per the statement, there will be no official ceremony on the day J-Hope enters the military, and the agency has advised fans not to visit the site to avoid any potential crowd-related issues.
