The Shehenshah of Bollywood was involved in an unusual but serious incident last Friday, where he was rushed to the hospital to treat a vein he accidentally cut on his left calf while shooting for Kaun Banega Crorepati. His Blog on Tumblr linked in his Instagram bio(https://www.tumblr.com/srbachchan) stated that due to an unfortunate incident last Friday, he cut a vein in his left calf.
"A jutting piece of metal sliced my left calve and managed to cut the vein .. the vein when cut spurts out the ‘red’ uncontrollably .. but had the nerve to get the doc and so into an OT and the stitching up .. with the assistance of a team of staff and docs in time..," he wrote. The star received stitches to cover his wound after being rushed to the hospital. A week after the incident, Amitabh continues updating his blogs with his latest condition.
Despite the disheveling incident, when the megastar entered the stage of KBC on Saturday, right after being treated for his gash on the left calf, it looked like there were no ruffled feathers. It is undeniable that his stage presence and aura are spell-binding which makes him the most-loved KBC host of all time but even in a situation with much pain, he handled it well. He took to Instagram to post pictures of him on the set with a bandage tied to his left leg as he ran through the entryway. “Running striding jogging on to work .. into that horizon of loud cheers and love .. and your PRAYERS," he wrote in the caption.
"The throb is the control factor on KBC and it must be stated that those 3-4 hours on each episode, does take care of the... Its a little inoperative, but the will to continue in the similar spirit of measurement and tribe and class in range does give a hope and we cope... Its quite fresh and with opinion and advice (sic)," he added on his blog. It is amazing how the big daddy of Bollywood continues with a strong will and approaches his daily tasks with positivity.
He has been advised by the doctors to not put any sort of strain on his legs, even prohibiting a treadmill walk for a better rate of recovery. “At times the satisfaction of the extreme may bring the joys or the griefs of existence…But extremes do not and never last .. they either perish or leave an indelible mark .. at strategic places on the body or bodies .. that is an embarrassment .. takes a while to step out of it, so help me God .. !!! (sic)" Bachchan wrote. Although he also shed light and found solace in the positivity of the following days of festivity, lights, and emotions in his blog dated 22nd October where he had described the incident.
He further assured fans of his well-being and continues posting his daily blogs. In a blog dated 26th October, he speaks of stains and scars that remain forever, evidence describing the incidences despite being healed with the “magic of medical science”.

The star was seen on screen last in the big-budget, high-grossing film “Brahmastra” and he prepares himself next for the release of “Uunchai” set to arrive in theatres on 11th November where he shares the screen with Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa and Parineeti Chopra.
