Superstar Alia Bhatt along with her husband Ranbir Kapoor are about to be parents and they are all set to welcome their first baby. Recently, they celebrated their baby shower with friends and family. Alia shared pictures from the ceremony that was organized at their place in Mumbai, on social media. Goes without saying, that their fans rushed to the comments section and started dropping their love for their favourite B-Town couple.
The intimate ceremony was attended by family members- Ranbir's mom Neetu Kapoor, Alia's mom Soni Razdan, Ranbir's cousin Karisma Kapoor, and a few close friends. In the pictures, Alia looked gorgeous as she blushed while posing with hubby Ranbir. Ranbir too seems to be showering love on his lovely wife and mom-to-be Alia as he plants a kiss on her cheek in one of the pics. Alia captioned the post, “just … love ."
Alia chose to wear a sunshine yellow traditional outfit while Ranbir was seen wearing a pastel Kurta Pyjama set. When someone asked Ranbir how they are preparing to welcome the baby, the Brahmastra star responded, “Now we are having a fight because there is a book on it that she (Alia) has read and wants me to read, and am 30 per cent through it, and I tell her, ‘Listen, books are not gonna teach us how we are gonna raise our child, let us experience it when it happens.”
Alia and Ranbir started dating in the year 2017 and first appeared as a couple at the wedding reception of Sonam Kapoor. Earlier this year, Alia and Ranbir tied the Knot at their Bandra residence. Within a few months of their wedding, they announced their pregnancy on Instagram. Alia during her early pregnancy days was continuing to shoot for her debut Hollywood film ‘Heart of Stone' in the UK where she will be seen alongside Hollywood supergirl Gal Gadot. The couple was recently seen in Ayan Mukherjee's Brahmastra as the lead pair. Alia is also working on ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' with actor Ranveer Singh.
