The 'OMG 2' movie's makers will soon unveil the teaser trailer. The film, in which Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar, Pankaj Tripathi, and Yami Gautam also appear, is a sequel to the popular 2012 film "OMG, Oh My God!" Although Akshay played Lord Krishna in the first film, it now appears that he will be portraying Lord Shiva in the sequel.
Akshay Kumar tweeted the movie's teaser release date on Sunday. The actor broke the news with a clip of himself recreating his movie character. The actor plays Lord Shiva, who roams the city. The actor plays Lord Shiva in the video, wearing beaded necklaces, matted hair, and ash on his forehead. See for yourself: "#OMG2Teaser out on July 11. #OMG2 in theatres on August 11," he said. A teaser debuts a month before the film's release.
Previously, OMG 2 was slated to compete at the box office with the August 11 releases of Sunny Deol's "Gadar 2" and the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed film "Animal," starring Ranbir Kapoor. A new release date, however, has been revealed by Animal's creators. On December 1, the movie will be released. On August 11, the weekend of the Fourth of July, Gadar 2 stays put.
In the movie "Selfiee," which hit theatres in February, Akshay Kumar was last spotted. Diana Penty, Emraan Hashmi, and Nushratt Bharuccha also starred in the movie, a remake of the Malayalam classic "Driving Licence." Recently, Akshay unveiled the poster for Housefull 5 and disclosed the movie's release date. On Diwali 2024, the movie that brings Akshay and Riteish Deshmukh back together will be released.
Later this year, Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar will star in the movie "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan." His movie, a Hindi adaptation of "Soorarai Pottru," was slated for release in September. Now, though, February of next year will be the new release date for the movie.
