JEE Advanced 2024 Result: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras announced the results of the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2024 on Sunday, June 9. A total of 1,80,200 candidates appeared in both papers 1 and 2 in JEE Advanced 2024 which was held on May 26. Out of these, 48248 candidates have qualified, which includes 7964 female candidates.
Ved Lahoti, IIT Delhi Zone, is top-ranked in the Common Rank List (CRL) by acquiring 355 out of 360 marks. Additionally, Dwija Dharmeshkumar Patel of IIT Bombay Zone became the top-ranked female candidate. With 332 out of 360 marks, she stands at CRL 7. A summary of the number of candidates who qualified:
- 40284 male candidates,
- 7964 female candidates,
- 594 PwD (People with disabilities),
- 179 OCI (Overseas Citizens of India), and
- 7 foreign candidates.
Matcha Balaaditya, IIT Bhubaneshwar Zone, has topped the OBC-NCL Category and Raghav Sharma, IIT Delhi Zone in the GEN (EWS) Category. The IIT Bombay Zone stands at the highest number of candidates in the top 100 with 30, followed by Delhi Zone’s 29 and Madras Zone’s 25. Other Zones - Roorkee with 9, Bhubaneshwar with 4, Guhawati with 2 and Kanpur with 1. The students who are eligible for the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSaa) have to register today at the official website.
