The billionaire Elon Musk revealed a new user feature on his social media network X (previously known as Twitter) on February 29. Musk stated that the platform's recommendation mechanism will ensure that all of a user's followers view the pinned post every 48 hours.
Musk added that this will only apply to one pinned post every two days as a safety measure to prevent "gaming of the system".
"To ensure that your pinned posts are seen by all of your followers, we are making changes to our recommendation process. Musk stated on X that this is limited to one pinned post per 48 hours to avoid systemic manipulation.

A platform for Job Postings
Musk stated when he took over X that he envisioned it as an "everything app". The billionaire reposted a message from X Hiring on February 28th, stating that the social media platform has over a million job posts from different industries.
"There are more than 1 million job postings live on X right now!" states an X Business post. Every day, businesses in the AI, financial services, SaaS, and other sectors use X Hiring to locate competent people."
"More than a million job listings are currently active on X!" says another post from X Hiring. Searching for a new job? Use X Hiring for your next job move."
X Hiring was established in August 2023 and has been a part of a larger plan to broaden the X offers ever since. X Hiring, which was first introduced for company profiles as part of its Verification for Organisations package, has experienced quick expansion.
The microblogging platform said in the first week of January that 750,000 of the posts listed in the app were available for application, and the remaining 250,000 would be available in a few weeks.
Audio and video calls
In addition, X has included job listings and audio and video calls for users who do not have a premium subscription.
This feature was formerly exclusive to Premium subscribers. Users of X can choose how they receive calls from other users within the app. Users have the option to change their preferences and accept calls from both other platform users and only their followers.
