Coca-Cola India announced its venture into the realm of ready-to-drink tea beverages with the introduction of 'Honest Tea' on Wednesday. The brand falls under the ownership of Honest, a subsidiary operating within the Coca-Cola Company's umbrella.
Officials revealed that the organic green tea utilized for this product will be procured from Luxmi Tea Co Private Ltd's Makaibari Tea Estate, located in Kolkata. This collaboration was solidified through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) inked during the seventh edition of the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS).
A senior representative from Coca-Cola India & Southwest Asia highlighted that the primary objective behind this launch is to offer consumers a broader spectrum of beverage choices. Additionally, it was mentioned that the iced green tea will be available in Lemon-Tulsi and Mango variations.
