Byju's CEO Arjun Mohan, resigned just after seven months due to developing challenges

Byju CEO Arjun Mohan has resigned, and creator Byju Raveendran will take over daily operating responsibilities, according to a corporate statement. Arjun Mohan, who took up the position only seven months ago, will now work as an external advisor, according to the statement.

According to the company's announcement, "The changes follow an extensive seven-month operational review and cost optimization exercise led by outgoing BYJU'S India CEO Arjun Mohan. He will now take on an external advising role, offering his extensive EdTech knowledge to the company and its founders during this transitional period."

Byju Raveendran stated that the reorganization is the beginning of BYJU'S 3.0, which would be a "leaner and more agile organization ready to quickly adapt to evolving market dynamics, especially in the realm of hyper-personalized education."

According to the company's statement, Byju Raveendran will take a more active role in overseeing daily operations. Recognizing the importance of strong leadership during this difficult time, he will now be heavily involved in the company's day-to-day operations, leveraging his skills to guide BYJU'S into its next chapter of growth and innovation."
