The smart home firm Aliste Technologies, situated in Noida, India, has secured $1 million in funding.
YourNest Venture Capital and Artha Venture Fund led the round, and additional participants included Dholakia Ventures, KRS Jamwal, and Anikarth Ventures. One of the company's current institutional investors was 100X.VC. The company plans to expand geographically and increase brand awareness with the money.
Aliste Technologies was founded in 2021 by Aakarsh Nayyar, Anant Ohri, Bhavya Kansal, Konark Gautam, Shreyansh Jain, and Udit Pandoh, all of whom were fellow VIT graduates. The company's goal is to penetrate the home automation market and make tech-enabled homes more accessible to individuals and companies seeking to improve customer satisfaction and reduce energy costs. With a subscription model starting at ₹1 per appliance every day, the firm offers retrofit automation technologies that enable consumers to control their existing appliances via voice assistants or apps.
Their clientele includes Vouchagram India, Stanza, and The Taj group of hotels. Currently, they have worked on over 2,500 residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
