As per an announcement made by Elon Musk on Thursday about the new CEO of Twitter, he revealed the name of the new CEO yesterday on 12 May. NBCUniversal advertising executive who is known as advertising expert Linda Yaccarnio will soon be acquiring the position of CEO of Twitter. Musk said that he would control product design and new technology while Linda would take care of the whole business.
Linda Yaccarnio resigned from the post of ad sales chief at NBCUniversal. She had been working with NBCUniversal for the last 12 years. She has brought NBCUniversal to the next level. Her way of building relations with advertisers is a key to her business strategy. Her entry on Twitter is extremely important as revenue for Twitter comes from advertising. Thus, it is said to be the wise decision of Elon Musk.
With the new CEO, Elon has planned to expand Twitter, and will make it everything app ‘X’.
