19-story sea-facing hotel to be built by Salman Khan in Bandra

Salman Khan, a famous actor in Bollywood, is claimed to be planning to develop a five-star hotel in Mumbai with his family.

According to a report in Times Of India, the BMC has given the go-ahead for the construction of the hotel on a beautiful, sea-facing land at Carter Road in Bandra, Mumbai. The hotel's development blueprints, which TOI has access to, indicate 19 floors. The Starlet CHS residential building, which will be replaced by the hotel, previously stood on the site. The Khans had bought flats there intending to convert them back into a residential structure. The family has since altered their opinion, and a magnificent hotel with 19 stories will be constructed.

According to the article, Salma Khan, the mother of Salman Khan, is the legal owner of the site, and the hotel's development plan was submitted in her name more than a year ago. According to the designs, the lodging establishment will have three levels of basements, with a café and a restaurant on the first and second floors. The swimming pool and gym will be on the third story, while the service floor will be on the fourth. The fifth and sixth levels of the structure will house the conference center, while the seventh to nineteenth stories will be used as hotels. As of now, Salman Khan's team has not provided an official statement.

According to the report, there hasn't yet been any evidence of construction on the land. There is now a building there that will apparently need to be demolished to make room for the hotel.
