Why Reward Dragon?

Reward Dragon was born to be a brand that combined the power of gamification and well-being to create a fun and engaging way for employees to achieve their business targets while taking care of their overall health and wellness. The brand name itself was carefully crafted to reflect its mission - to reward employees like a powerful mythical creature, the dragon, and motivate them to achieve their goals.

The name Reward Dragon was chosen to represent the brand's core values and the solution it offers. The word "Reward" reflects the brand's intent to motivate people by offering instant rewards for completing tasks.

The other half of the name, "Dragon," was inspired by the powerful mythical creature known for bringing good luck and fortune. The dragon represents the brand's unique and catchy name, as well as its ability to help companies overcome challenges such as disengagement, attrition, and lack of well-being, among others.

The dragon in Reward Dragon brand also symbolizes a powerful ally that gives rewards to people for their efforts.

What is Reward Dragon?

Reward Dragon is a mobile application-based solution designed to motivate employees and improve their engagement through gamification. The brand was founded by Sameer Panjwani, a former VP of operations for Accenture India, with 15 years of experience in engagement and a passion for creating meaningful and lasting employee experiences. Reward Dragon's mission is to address the challenges faced by companies in the modern talent landscape, including disengagement, attrition, distributed workforces, and well-being issues.

What is their Purpose & Mission?

The brand's tagline, "Let’s live every day like an exciting game!", sums up the essence of Reward Dragon perfectly. It's all about bringing a sense of fun and excitement to the workplace and motivating employees to be their best selves.

And for managers, Reward Dragon provides a portal with reporting analytics to help them track the impact of the app on their employees and company.

Reward Dragon was founded on the premise that traditional employee engagement programs such as fun Friday dinners and other material incentives are no longer effective in the modern talent landscape. Sameer Panjwani observed that 79% of employees around the globe are disengaged, which results in unproductivity, lack of innovation, and a waste of 34% of annual salary. Attrition is another major issue, with 50% of annual salary wasted on employee turnover.

The challenges faced by companies in a hybrid workforce environment are also significant, as distributed teams make it difficult to align everyone on the same goals. Furthermore, well-being is a focus area, with 40% of employees experiencing stress and worry throughout the day, which can lead to disengagement and burnout.

With Reward Dragon, Sameer Panjwani hopes to solve some of the major challenges that companies face in employee engagement, such as disengagement, attrition, and lack of well-being. He wants to bring a new concept of “everyday engagement” that will inspire employees to stay motivated and engaged every day, not just on designated fun days.

Sameer Panjwani's Journey -

Sameer Panjwani has been working on engagement for over 15 years, and it is his passion and forte.

Before founding Reward Dragon, he was the Chief Happiness Officer for Accenture India, where he was responsible for engaging up to 1,000 employees. During the pandemic, Sameer had to switch gears and redefine the way engagement was done, as the company had to move its bases and work virtually.

He was able to design an entire engagement framework, align the leadership, and improve engagement and NPS from 25 points to 47 points out of 100, which resulted in saving $6.2 million for Accenture. This impact led to the company winning the Brandon Hall gold medal for effectively engaging employees remotely.

Sameer's experience inspired him to go out of his comfort zone and use his ideas, thoughts, and leadership to impact more people, which led to the birth of Reward Dragon.

Their main Concepts and Beliefs -

The team at Reward Dragon believes that the key to long-term engagement is intrinsic motivation, which is difficult to achieve through traditional extrinsic motivation such as material incentives.

The Reward Dragon mobile application is built using the concept of gamification. Sameer knows the entire A-Z of gamification, which has helped him in implementing it through technology.

The app helps people in different job roles, including sales and customer service, convert their targets into a game. Every time they achieve a business target, they earn virtual reward points in the app, which serves as instant recognition. The app also enables managers to create challenges and campaigns based on KPIs, which helps drive people on priority KPIs. The business performance is monitored and driven by gamification.

Reward Dragon offers two main services - Business Option Gamification and Well-being Gamification.
Apart from achieving targets and receiving rewards, people can also take small daily steps towards improving their well-being through Heart and Body and Mind and Soul programs, featuring certified experts in various fields

Importance of Well-Being -

One of the unique aspects of Reward Dragon is its focus on employee well-being. Many employees experience stress and worry throughout the day, and there is a stigma around discussing it in the workplace. Reward Dragon seeks to change this by incorporating well-being into its gamification model. Employees can participate in wellness challenges and earn rewards for taking care of their physical and mental health. This not only helps to reduce stress and promote overall well-being, but it also leads to more engaged and productive employees.

Importance of Management -

In addition to its focus on employee engagement and well-being, Reward Dragon also helps companies address the challenge of managing a hybrid workforce. With more employees working remotely, it can be difficult to keep everyone on the same page and aligned with company goals. Reward Dragon's gamification model helps to address this by providing a way to motivate and engage remote workers, and to keep them connected to the company's objectives.

Why are they different?

The use of gamification in the workplace is not a new concept, but Reward Dragon has taken it to the next level. By using the latest technology and a deep understanding of employee engagement, the company has created a powerful tool for improving workplace culture, driving business results, and promoting employee well-being.

As a startup, the brand persona of Reward Dragon is energetic, luxurious, helpful, and a friend to everybody.

It aims to be the go-to tool for employees, managers, and HR offices who want to create a workplace where everyone feels thrived and engaged. Join the journey of Reward Dragon, the helping hand for all your engagement needs.
