How was it started?
Olitia tea started its journey back in 2008 when olive trees first came to India. it is then that people realized that, Olive trees have a lifespan of over 8000 years. Dr.Sarika started to wonder that if a tree can live this long, it must have some great benefits too. So, she started working on the leaves. While working on the leaves, she was surprised to find excellent phenols which are beneficial for the human body. These phenols can even prevent diseases like cancer and can be beneficial for diabetic patients as well. After she found out the different advantages of the leaves, she started wondering how they can use these leaves for the benefit of the common man. This is when the idea of making tea with the use of these olives bloomed.

This special tea consists of rich anti-oxidants, boosts immunity, helps in reducing cholesterol, reduces the risk of cancer, has zero caffeine, prevents ageing and fights bacteria to keep us healthy.

Dr.Sarika had always been fascinated and mesmerized by the Indian culture and also the science behind the culture. She believed, what we take from mother nature should also be given back. She launched this tea to help people know about the great benefits of olives and also help them live happy and healthy life. They have many different healthy and tasty flavors.
How is it made?
They handpick the best olive leaves from farms stretched across 5000 acres in Rajasthan. They ensure that these silvery green soft leaves have just the right aroma and the best medicinal properties. At every step of the process, from sowing to packaging, they have chosen the best techniques to ensure only the freshest leaves reach you. Before transferring to the field, the olive saplings are first grown in cocopeat to protect them from bacterial growth. The cutting and slow drying retain the essence and liquor of the olive leaves. The three-layered packaging ensures garden freshness of the tea leaves protecting them from immediate weather and temperature changes.

Olitia Tea’s Success -
Dr.Sarika is the founder of Olitia Tea. She completed her graduation in science and her doctorate in Naturopathy. The tea was launched in 2017 by the then CM of Rajasthan Mrs. Vasundhara and later a famous magazine in Rajasthan also featured the tea.
In 2019, when the chief minister of Israel Mr.Benjamin Netanyahu came to India,
he was served olive tea at the president's house as olives were originally from Israel. He was very impressed with the tea which was coveted by the entire media of India.
Their Struggles:
Since this idea was something unusual, Dr.Sarika and Olitia had to hear a lot of criticism at the start of their journey. People doubted the work and would often say it is a waste of time. But they did not let this affect their ambition. Olitia Tea was launched and proved everyone who doubted them wrong.
