Additionally, Volkswagen has introduced the Highline Plus variant for the Virtus, along with a new package for the Taigun GT Line.
Sporty Design Enhancements
The latest iterations of the Volkswagen Virtus feature design changes reminiscent of the brand’s other GT Line models. Key visual upgrades include smoked headlamps with LED lights and a stylish Carbon Steel Grey roof option. The GT Plus variant stands out with a GT badge on the grille and striking red brake calipers, enhancing its sporty aesthetic. Furthermore, 16-inch black alloy wheels and several other black accents contribute to the vehicle's dynamic look.
Interior Upgrades for a Sportier Feel
Inside, the Virtus boasts a revamped cabin with black leatherette upholstery accented by red stitching. The dashboard features a glossy black finish, complemented by aluminum pedals and a black headliner. To elevate the sporty atmosphere, a GT badge is present on the front headrests, and the steering wheel also showcases red stitching.
Under the hood, the Virtus GT Line is equipped with a 1.0-litre TSI engine that delivers 113 bhp and 178 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the GT Plus Sport variant houses a more powerful 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, generating 148 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque.
Both variants are paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, while the TSI engine offers an optional 6-speed torque converter. The 1.5-litre EVO engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG for a more dynamic driving experience.
The Highline Plus variant of the Virtus is priced at Rs 14.26 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Taigun variant comes in at Rs 13.87 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant also features the 1.0-litre TSI engine.
