The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is scheduled to debut in India in January 2023 and is anticipated to cost between Rs. 3,00,000 and Rs. 3,50,000. The Super Meteor 650 is competitive with the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, QJ Motor SRV 300, and Royal Enfield Meteor 350. In addition, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650, which will be made available in India in June 2023, is another motorcycle similar to the Super Meteor 650.

The Super Meteor 650 from Royal Enfield has been added to its lineup of middleweight motorcycles. The company's middleweight cruiser motorcycle lineup now includes the Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650. The motor is the same 648cc parallel-twin, air/oil-cooled motor found in the Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 motorcycles connected to a six-speed gearbox. Linked to a six-speed gearbox, the engine is tuned to deliver 47bhp of maximum output and 52.3Nm of peak torque.

The new Super Meteor 650's tubular steel frame, 43mm upside-down front forks, and dual rear shocks serve as its suspension system. Dual-channel ABS provide the safety net, and the braking system consists of a front 320mm disc and a rear 300mm rotor. Additionally, it has alloy wheels, a first for the company's 650cc lineup, fitted with tubeless tyres in the front and back sizes 100/90 and 150/80.

Royal Meteor

An LED headlight, an LED taillight, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with Royal Enfield's Tripper Navigation system are included in the feature list. For the motorcycle, Royal Enfield will provide a large selection of accessories. In addition, the company has introduced the Solo Tourer and Grand Tourer accessory packs for the Super Meteor 650.

Two variations of the most recent Super Meteor 650 are available: standard and tourer. The standard model also referred to as the "Solo tourer," is available in Astral Blue, Astral Black, Astral Green, Interstellar Green, and Interstellar Grey.

The Super Meteor 650's tourer model is available in Celestial Blue and Celestial Red colour schemes. In addition, customers can buy extras like long-haul panniers, touring dual seats, passenger backrests, touring windscreens, bar-end mirrors, footpegs, machined wheels, and LED indicators for the cruiser motorcycle.

Royal Meteor Bike

The newest Royal Enfield bike has the same 650cc powertrain as the other 650cc bikes, so it performs similarly. The new motorcycle's 648 cc parallel twin air/oil-cooled SOHC engine produces 52.3 Nm of maximum torque at 5,650 rpm and 47PS of total power at 7,250 rpm. There is a 6-speed transmission attached to the bike.

The motorcycle's frame is made of steel tubing suspended from front forks that are 43 mm inverted and have a 120 mm travel. It has twin shock absorbers at the back with preload adjustment and 101 mm of travel. Interestingly, the Super Meteor 650 is the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to have USD forks.

The bike has a 16-inch, 150/80-section tyre on the back and a 100/90 R19-section tyre up front. Both tyres have no tubes. Instead, with dual-channel ABS, the front 320mm disc and the rear 300mm disc support the braking system. It is the heaviest bike made by the company and has a 15.7-litre fuel capacity.
