Turkish soccer fans gave a moving tribute to the young victims of the most recent magnitude 7.8 earthquake on Sunday. Fans swarmed the field of Vodafone Park in Istanbul with hundreds of teddy bears and other stuffed animals at the four minutes and 17-second mark of the game between Besiktas and Antalyaspor.
The time was specifically chosen to coincide with the "major" earthquake that struck the nation at 4:17 in the morning on February 6. Tragically, a second earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Richter scale occurred hours later.
All of the soft toys will now be given to the kids impacted by the earthquake that devastated nearby Syria as well as Turkey.
