Parineeti Chopra, a Bollywood actress, and Raghav Chadha, a politician, are reportedly planning to wed later this month. While there have been numerous reports regarding the wedding location and dates, a wedding reception invitation that has been making the rounds online claims that the couple will throw a reception in Chandigarh on September 30. The invitation has a straightforward yet elegant layout with golden accents on a white card, and Raghav's family delivered it. A formal statement is still expected, though.
Sources have revealed that the festivities will begin on September 17, with the wedding and other functions taking place at the Leela Palace in Udaipur. Close family members and friends will be staying at the venue, while luxury properties in and around the area have been booked for other guests. The wedding is expected to be a grand Punjabi affair, with celebrations ending on September 24.
Given the presence of politicians at the wedding, heightened security arrangements have been put in place. The police are conducting reconnaissance to ensure a comprehensive security plan. The wedding rituals are scheduled to take place on September 23 and 24 at both the Leela Palace and the Oberoi Udaivilas. The arrangements have been made to accommodate over 200 guests, including more than 50 VVIPs.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha got engaged in May at Delhi's Kapurthala House, in the presence of family members and friends. The couple confirmed their engagement by sharing pictures on social media, expressing their happiness and excitement. The couple's dating rumours began earlier this year when they were spotted together at a Mumbai eatery, an airport, and even an IPL match.
